This model is JUNK! Not even 1 star worthy. Will wash a load for hours because it can™™t balance. Control panel lasts barely a year or two. Now panel is blinking and I can™™t select any changes to the preset loads. Capacity can™™t even handle a small comforter. Agitates but doesn™™t get the whole blanket wet. Inside rim is already rusting. Not even 4 years old. Water temperature is way off. I select warm and it puts out hot one time and cold the next time.

Worst money I ever spend Machine doesn™™t work Too much clothes doesn™™t work. Small quantities of clothes doesn™™t work. Smart dispense doesnt work. Rinse options doesn™™t work. Control lock doesn™™t work. I bought and only used for 2 weeks then moved to another place. New place had machines already so I saved mine. Now that I need my new washer because old machine broke. This junk doesn™™t work. I can™™t even return this piece of metal because it™™s past 1 year warranty. Wish I had bought at Costco instead of Home Depot. Costco would take back this piece of junk.

This machine is the worst washing machine I've ever used. No matter the load capacity, arrangement of said load it will battle itself to find balance every 4th load .. it's maddening. The agitator I feel is the issue.... Truly no point in the large capacity cause I have yet to find a rhyme or reason to why it looses balance so often. I feel this issue has cut the life span at least in half.... I'm sure GE knew..... Do better

Nightmare machine lasted 4 years

Worst washing machine purchase ever. Bought in 2020 and didn't even use for a year because we had remodeling done and had to move to an apartment.Therefore, got 4 years use out of it and I need a new transmission. The machine I had before lasted me 14 years! Lots of my clothes ended up with holes in them and it never did a great job with tough stains. It would become unbalanced constantly and I would spend lots of time rebalanced it. Truly a nightmare and now I have to pay over $600 to fix it? Never again. Oh and I also bought a GE dryer and have had to replace the knob 3 times in a short amount of time. I got an email offering to help, but they want so many details andni no longer have the receipt because I bought thru Home Depot credit and the statement ages out quickly.

Was only quiet for the first few weeks. Says energy efficient but it consistently refills to balance during the spin cycle, wasting more water and energy. The detergent dispenser clogged in the first month, continues to clog so stopped using it. Just used for a little over 5 years and now the agitator does not work and the inside started to rust and white (what seems to be plastic) is coming off the inside.

This is one of the worst washing machines I have ever used; if you put in anything larger than a medium load it will not drain. Instead, it continues to ™balance™ the items by continually adding more water in the drain and spin cycle, which is incredibly inefficient and a waste of energy. I bought this washing machine to wash, comforters, sweaters, and jeans, but you can forget it because not only does the washing machine not function, have to hand-ring these items. ™Smart™ devices are often exactly the opposite. I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from wasting money.

In addition, it stays out of balance and use to spin so aggressively that there is a hairline fracture in the lid. We bought this washer when we built our new house 2020. Most expensive washer we have ever owned & turned out to be the worst! I agree with many others™¦ doesn™™t matter the size of the load. You never know if it will get unbalanced and not spin! It will keep trying for hours unless I finally go ahead & rearrange then use the and drain & spin cycle. Also, grease streaks on sheets and pillow cases happens alot! Plus sheets seem very dingy! Now to top off everything the auto detergent dispenser has low tank every time I wash. It™™s only the two of us! Started refilling once a month, then every two weeks and now every time I get ready to wash! Is it just draining out? No problem solving listed for this! Very disappointed that I bought the top of the line! We feel this purchase was a waste of money! No wonder it™™s 1/2 the price now! Too many issues!

Multiple electronic panel fails/unbalanced loads

This is the second time within a year that the electronic panel has gone haywire. Halfway through the wash the panel gets weird letters on the screen and starts clicking every 5 seconds or so. Unplugging does not reset. Also agree with the many unbalanced loads with this washer. The load was initially loaded properly and it still gets an unbalanced load.

Could not be more disappointed with this washer. After many different detergents and cycles, dark clothes continue to come out with white streaks, clothes looking dingy NOT clean. White clothes come out with dirt stains that were not on the clothes prior to washing, requiring multiple hand washes to get clean. Additionally, the clothes are often dripping wet once the cycle ends, too wet to place into dryer. Attempt the ™drain & spin™ cycle and seem to be just as wet. GE you™™ve really let me down.

I'm now in my full year of using the machine. I was retired but have taken a full time grocery store job. It requires at least one daily small load of the uniform. I get clothes dirty and smelly from produce stocking, especially from when I have to cut onions and peppers for the display floor. I have made my peace with modern washers and now use the high efficiency cycles more than not. They work as long as you load the machine by carefully balancing bulk and weight by the placement against the walls of the tub as best as possible. Fold towels and jeans in half before putting them in. Do not wrap jeans around the agitator. After mastering this, the machine is as designed. It does a fine job washing . The high efficiency design works as long as you load it carefully and do not stuff the washer. Also, don't think that "Normal" means like you have loaded washers in the past by simply tossing mixed loads helter skelter inside the machince. It will not work as designed and it will waste your time in rebalancing the load or having to redo the load. I'm now content with the design and would buy it again. The auto detergent dispenser works great and does not allow over sudsing which defeats the modern machines so often. The power wash cycle and the soak cycles have yet to be defeated where I have to re wash heavily soiled items. A good friend has purchased the successor model "Profile". He has had fine results and did a much better job than I in simply loading the machine correctly and using the correct cycle too right off the bat. Also, I wash bedding too frequently as my cats have a bad habit of fouling the bedding with furballs. The big capacity works great on my queen sized comforter and sheet sets. All in all, this has been a fine purchased.

This is by far the worst washing machine I have ever had and I have lived in Europe with tiny machines that only fit a singular outfit. It is horrible at balancing and so if you fill over 1/3 of the way full it can™™t handle it. The machine just ends anytime it gets off balance and you end up with soggy dripping clothes that have to be removed until you can get the load small enough for it to manage balancing. Which is comical because if you wash a small load the water never gets high enough to even cover the clothes unless you press the button to add 6 or more gallons. Anytime I wash more than one towel at a time it takes a full day to do a load of laundry because of the amount I have to rerun the machine. Also due to the lovely HE features on machines these days anything that™™s gotten slightly dirty has to be hand washed first. Whites are basically wear twice and throw away if you want them to actually be white for my kids whereas with all my previous machines whites were my favorite to put the kids in because bleach fixes everything.

I've owned this product for about 2 years. During the first 8 months the circuit board broke and took weeks to replace. Now the lid frame has cracked because he can't deal with the tension from the spring that prevents it from being slammed. When I called GE customer service after being told by a repairman that there's a defect and he seen this before they were rude and not responsive.

So far the family and I love our new washing machine. We are a family of 5 adults, one 2 and a half year old child and a white German Shephard and the washer has handled all we have thrown at it. The washer can handle huge loads of clothes, comforters, sheets, pillows, etc.... It is pretty amazing how all you have to do is load the washer, select what cycle and the washer does the rest. The washer automatically knows what size load is, dispenses the appropriate amount of detergent and water and does a great job getting the clothes clean. I would recommend this washer to anyone.

Disappointed In Goodyear 10/3/2022

Very disappointed in the noise level of the entire cycle!! It is difficult to balance load. It is very sensitive to loading no matter the size of load
