This dryer melts our clothes even when set to "low" temperature. We've had both thermistors replaced and a technician out multiple times. Awful dryer that we will be replacing with something different.

Worse dryer EVER!!

Do NOT ever buy this dryer. This is one of the worse dryers I have ever owned. The matching washing machine is no better. EVERY weekend, I am doing laundry and washing bed sheets and blankets. This dryer can not tumble a blanket without rolling it into a ball every 3 minutes. I have been trying to get the blanket dry for the last 2 hours so that I can continue with the rest of my laundry. I've had multiple service calls on this dryer before the warranty expired after the first year. Apparently GE has changed how they make things and a lot of service companies in my area will not service a new model GE appliance. I've had to enlist in a whole house warranty, just so I can keep the washer and dryer running.

Not a quality dryer

This dryer is low quality and GE does not back their product. We also had a monogram refrigerator that they replaced due to it breaking all of the time. We asked the same for this dryer in the beginning when we had all of these issues with dryer breaking often.. Repair man pretty much said it won™€™t be replaced until they cab™€™t fix it. We have had this dryer 2.5 years and only used half of the year. Dryer broke again. GE saw all of the past repairs so they sent tech out they ordered part/ replaced it. It worked for a month and it is now broken again. GE customer service is no help. Do not buy this product. Builder bought all GE /Monogram appliances for all of the condis they built in this condo. I never had such issues with any other brands.

This dryer makes doing laundry so much easier and faster. It dries the clothes in half the time of the old one and 7.4 cu ft is great. We got the one with Wi-Fi because it was on sale for less than the same one without WI-FI. Very quite too.

I was running a set of old kenmore washer and dryer since 2003. Since these were the old setup, I maintained them myself. Replace parts when needed and services when required aka cleaning etc. Using these today saves time, water, and energy. What was I wait for!!!!

My wife loves the new dryer. Finally we get dry clothes on the first try! That never happened on the Maytag or junk Samsung dryers we had before. Plus having multiple drying choices is great. I really like that it monitors the air flow and will give an alarm if your exhaust vent starts getting restricted.

Works well, great features, huge capacity. I like being able to customize and save favorite settings. I found that this leaves clothes damp if you use the delicate cycle, which used to be my go-to cycle, so I switched to Mixed Load and just changed it to Low heat.

I am having a difficult time trying to LOVE this dryer.....for whatever reason I do not have any signal when the dryer shuts off....also not overly comfortable with the drying options and the times associated with them. I have ended up going to the area where I set them time....one minute at a time ....I have kept the users manual right on the top of the dryer and still find myself thinking that I will find an answer to some of my issues. Perhaps because I had my other dryer for so long, I just am not adapting well to change?????

While the features are great, it would be nice if they were more "customizable". E.g., timed drying is in increments of 10 mins but you go from 10 mins, 20 mins and then 40 mins. As of today, that's my only issue but I've only had it for about 3 wks. Will update my review in another 2 mos. 90 days should give me a better idea as to whether it was worth the price.
