Love the fridge bought it new about six years ago never had a problem until now.
The thermostat says my freezer is 6 degrees and its actually 0, because of that it runs almost constantly. Repair man is 2 hour drive away. We have tried resetting it nothing seems to work.
Would appreciate some help

After 5 years, the refrigerator no longer cools or freezes reliably. We have awakened numerous times to a fully thawed freezer and wet floor. We replaced the relay, capacitor and thermostat. Next step is the motherboard - or the curb. I have never had an appliance go bad like this.

Great refrigerator. I have never had any issues with this appliance. Temperature remains consistent with plenty of room in freezer and refrigerator. I love the drinking water feature, and the fact that you can have the refrigerator door open and still fill up with your water.

The freezer on this fridge stopped freezing after 5 years of use and was unable to be made to work even after two parts to regulate the temperature were replaced. I will not buy another GE product.

Can you get worse than this refrigerator? It freezes anything in the back and then certain shelves even the middle to front items end up frozen. It is so poorly thought out. The huge bulb in the middle of the top of the fridge that takes up so much space. The ™molding™ that comes off. The poorly done drawers. The narrow freezer. My ice and water dispenser broke right away. Either it™™s a huge embarrassment to GE or GE is not as reputable a corporation as I thought. I bought an additional no frills refrigerator to use since this one cannot be filled to capacity if one wants cool but not frozen food, and it cost less and is more productive. This unit should cost maybe a couple hundred dollars nothing near the cost of comparable units. After quite a few miserable years Im finally going to replace mine. GE should be providing us all with rebates or merchandise credits for these lemons.

We purchased this fridge because we liked the look and needed this smaller size. The freezer is too small to keep a frozen pizza. This is the noisiest fridge we have ever owned, from getting a glass of water to the normal operation. The doors are not stainless steel and are very hard to keep clean.

We needed to replace our GE Profile as the solenoid valve failed which caused a leak that never presented itself until water damage was severe. It had been purchased in 2008 by previous owners. The only problem we found with this GE Profile was the need to replace ice maker/parts numerous times since 2011. Hopefully they have fixed these issues. We only have space for a 23.1 or 23.3 cu. ft. refrigerator so our choices were very limited. Definitely is NOT fingerprint-resistant.

I was very disappointed that the freezer door does not have a top shelf. My previous GE refrigerator had one, this one has nothing, just wasted space. The ice maker is very hard to get to in terms of turning it on and off. The lighting is very dim on the freezer side. You can barely see the items on the lower levels. I wish I had reviewed this appliance before purchasing.

This refrigerator has lots of room inside. There is plenty of space in the door bins for many large and small items. I've only owned Sears brand previously, but this refrigerator has so much room in it and is easy to retrieve items from. The lighting in the refrigerator is excellent, really easy to find things. At first the freezer seemed a little cramped for space but once I got used to it, it is fine as well. I like the ice machine set-up better than other brands. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Just replaced another old GE fridge. It is working well but i only had it for a few days. I like the glass shelves and the light that gets brighter gradually. It is actually very spacious. Love the water and ice dispenser. Hopefully it will last a long time!

Both the refrigerator and freezer have plenty of room considering the smaller size. We very much like the water and ice in the door. It also has a sleek appearance. I feel I need to be careful with the drawers since their plastic construction doesn™™t seem very durable. Otherwise, we are happy with this appliance.

Very happy with this refrigerator--plenty of storage; quiet; very efficient ice maker. The only small complaint is the small size and number of the freezer door pockets -- they hold just a single package of frozen veggies, and the entire top half of the door is devoted to ice delivery. But the freezer interior is spacious enough to compensate. All in all a very nice machine for the price.

I had to buy a new fridge when my previous one started to not work properly. Without much time to research, I chose this GE and couldn't be happier. Plenty of room for me, easy to access controls and it looks great in my kitchen. I really have no complaints at all.

This is a great fridge for the price and ™unique™size. Very hard to find this width and depth with ice dispenser and water in door. It looks nice. Fridge Sideis bigger than my last one but freezer is very tight for a family. Would need an extra freezer in garage I think. The only reason not 5 stars is that the ice dispenser didn™™t work on delivery. Waited 4 days. Nothing. Did diagnostic test and called GE. They advised it might be filter so would send a new one. The filter the fridge came with was on older Model since replaced. Waited a week for that to arrive. Gave up and bought one. Still didn™™t work. Repairman has to come. lol and behold, when fridge was made, a loose extra screw ended up in teeth of ice maker. He took it out and it works fine for 2 weeks now. Their filter finally arrived. To be fair, they did give me 10% refund on price. But still, I am concerned about what other issues happened on factory. Have a 3 year warranty so fingers crossed. That™™s why 4 stars.

We needed a larger refrigerator to fit in a fairly confined space. We decided on this one for a variety of its features, including glass shelving, much more room in the doors, an external water dispenser, ice maker, and my favorite: the actual temperature of the freezer and refrigerator displayed when you hit a button on the console. The refrigerator is quiet and has worked superbly for the month we have had it (as of this writing.). This model was the higher end in the series and I'm glad I went with it. Very pleased with our purchase.

This was an "emergency" purchase for us. The refrigerator has lots of storage space and we love the water/ice dispenser feature! The freezer is a little on the small side, but in spite of that we couldn't be happier with our choice! Will definitely go with GE for future purchases!
