Rack rusted. Doesn™™t clean well. Poor instructions

I am not impressed with his dishwasher at all. It doesn™™t seem to have the water power pressure that it needs to clean and it always leaves a residue. I use high-quality soap and rinse agent and it™™s just no good there™™s it™™s very unfriendly when it comes to trying to clean the filter out or check to see if there™™s any debris blocking the drain hose or whatever and it™™s just not a good product.

This dishwasher is, without a doubt, the cheapest model available™"something I™™d expect in a budget motel, not in a home where I™™m paying over $4,400 a month to live. It struggles to clean even mildly dirty dishes, often requiring multiple cycles to get the job done. It™™s clear that Liberty Military Housing cut corners by installing the lowest-quality appliances possible. For the amount I pay in rent, I™™d expect a functional, efficient dishwasher™"not one that wastes water, energy, and my time. Extremely disappointing.

Dishwasher broke after 3 years. The timer ceases to work. The washing/rinsing functions are useless. Dishes come out dirty. Food particles still remain as drain is not effective either.

Not happy with this product at all. I've had it for almost 2 years and have had to replace the drain solenoid and plunger cam because it melted. Two months later the newly replaced solenoid and plunger melted again. The timer is sticking in multiple positions through out the wash cycle causing the solenoid to burnout and melt.

Top rack does not get washed at all. That tube in the center of the dishwasher shoots water straight up and there is no spinner to wash the undersides of the cups on top. Best bet is that lower rack gets things clean. Go buy a dishwasher that gets both the top and bottom racks' worth of dishes clean.

I was told by my landlord at Silas Oaks Apartment in Live Oak Florida that this is a new dishwasher because the one I had before it leaked all over the floor and filled with water. They installed it in 2021 it did the same exact thing as the last Appliance with the same brand name flooded my floor Non-Stop filled with 30 stinky water and would not drain or clean the dishes whatsoever. So I've had the breaker turned off for a couple years because it's pointless to try to use it and the landlord won't replace it. So I'm glad there's these bad reviews so the tenants don't get blamed for breaking things. Piece of crap all together

Only had this dishwasher for 4 years right out the gate had timer problems now the dishwasher racks are rusted and the gadget that shoots the water is broken so I can no longer use the product. I™™m truly disappointed I thought your products were built to last.

The lower rack on this model is rusting after only a couple years. The coating was not sufficiently applied to cover the metal on the rack and it now deposits rust on our dishes. Went to my parents and I checked the 30 year old GE equivalent model that moved from my parents kitchen to the shed and it is still not rusting.

Two stars cause it was only $300 and I've never owned a dishwasher before. You get what you pay for. In just under three years the timer seemed to be getting stuck in cycle. Cleaned the knob and still got stuck. Shortly afterwords it stopped filling and smelled like something was burning. My neighbor repairs appliances (40yrs) and has fixed my fridge, washer, and dryer for free. He said he doesn't like to work on GE (whaaa??) and gave me a number. I called the GE guy and told him my problem. He laughed and said they don't make that model like they used to and said I was better off buying a Whirlpool/Maytag than paying for repairs. Was considering replacing the water inlet valve myself ($30?) to see what happens. However, I'm having a tough time finding the part. Super bummed, but hey it was $300 right?

We have to prerinse our dishes and often still doesn't get clean. We are using high quality dishwasher detergent. The dishwasher came with the house we purchased. You get what you pay for. We will be upgrading our dishwasher

I've had this dishwasher for 4 years. Last night I put it on and this morning it was still stuck in one mode. Got it to go to the next cycle but now will not drain. All GE says is they can send a service person out and charge me - my guess from reading other comments is they'll charge me to say it can't be fixed. So frustrating - will not be buying another GE!

Like others have stated, the solenoid and timer needed to be replaced after two years. The dishwasher did not drain or advance. It would just fill. We had to bale it out by hand. We were quoted more than the unit cost to fix it. Luckily we got a nice technician that gave us a discount on parts and labor. I am a single mom with three kids. I need my dishwasher.

Soleniod melted, timer not working, burning smell, doesn't drain, been repaired TWICE for same issues. We spent another $300 to repair this week. So unbelievably frustrating. GE should be doing something to back up their product. The stress from worrying about the burning smell and melted parts is real. Please feel free to reach out GE. I already called and was told we are 6 months out of warranty from the same repairs a year ago.

Only had dishwasher for 3 years. Noticed a strong odor of burning plastic or rubber, and now the dishwasher will not drain. No filters or hoses clogged, so I™™m assuming the pump burnt up. 3 years? Really? Just terrible!

To start from what I understand this dishwasher has been discontinued which is a good thing. We bought this dishwasher during the pandemic when dishwashers were difficult to come by. This dishwasher will be three years old next month the bottom rack coating has worn off in places which leaves rust marks on your dishes. To clean the filter In this dishwasher you must take the washer arm and the cage off. I have done this before successfully with a YouTube video which warned you that the plastic piece you have to unclip from the washer arm is very delicate, this is true as I broke this little plastic clip off the last time I was cleaning the filter. The price to fix it is twice the price of the dishwasher. GE used to make quality products but no longer. But never buy another GE product.

Just like another review here, we've had this dishwasher for about 2 years and it is already broken. Repairing it will cost nearly as much as it originally cost new, so it's sad to realize it's better to replace it entirely than to fix it.

I see that this machine is no longer being manufactured, and that's a good thing. I bought this dishwasher in July 2021 and it's already stopped working properly. The machine doesn't cycle through doesn't drain at all. I called a tech to come look at it, and they want nearly as much as I paid for it to repair. Very sad when it's more cost-effective to buy a new machine rather than fixing an "old" machine. It's painful, because the machine still looks new. So disappointed.

Doesn™™t wash most dirt off the dishes but it is durable and has worked as a sanitizer (after the dishes have been fully cleaned by hand) for several years with no repairs or leaks.

I've had two of these dishwashers, and while they work well, the quality and longevity of the machine is very poor. My first one lasted a few years, and I figured for the price that was decent enough so I replaced it with the same one. Not even a full year and the cycle switch went out and it was replaced under warranty. Now, another year later the switch went out again, this time burning up the drain Solenoid with it. I don't expect a lot for $300, but it would be nice if it lasted a few years at least. I'm very frustrated and disappointed with the same part breaking over and over.

The water pump was slow leaking from day to 1. I didn™™t have it checked because I had faith in the product and thought it was a possible plumbing issue from the freeze that the plumbers couldn™™t find. By the time I realized it was in fact the dishwasher, the warranty was over and my kitchen floor was ruined. The part that went bad had been discontinued and they suggested a different one. Very disappointed

Installed in March '21 work well until now. Stopped draining. Checked for clogged drain. I assumed the warranty was going to cover it. I was WRONG. Most likely the drain relay is the problem. If a $20 part and few hours of work does not fix the issue, off to the dumpster. Not sure it was a well-spent $350.
