This fridge is basically junk. It has had issues since new. Fails to keep a consistent temperature. Fridge randomly turns off by itself. GE is a solid company, but this fridge was obviously built on the Monday after the Super Bowl.

Freezer sometime works but most of the time it dose not. I have tried the GE support after registration but no one will get back to me. There is no tech anywhere around me so I think that may be the DELAY. Yes it has adequate voltage so not sure why it does what it does. And yet it's turned up all the way.

Our prior GE fridge stopped cooling after 8 months of use. We live in our 5th wheel full time. We bought this brand new and had it installed by an RV tech in April 2025. It stopped working after 8 months of use. This brand and model fridge only works for 8 months. Will never buy again.

Unit is only 3 years old and failed. No drain for defrosting, and frosts up quickly. Freezer worked on, but refrigerator never really kept things cool, even on shore power.

This GE 12 Volt Refrigerator works great I tested freezer & frig with thermometer after 24 hours turning on 0 degrees in frezezer 35 degrees in frig set on cold the middle setting ambient temp outside was 71 degrees during daytime . I took out old absorption style that came factory with camper . Now with this GE 12 Volt refrigerant we can have anything we would have in our home refrigerator.

Refrigerator is working well and like the simple convenient items ex. Door lock feature is easy to use but sturdy enough that I am confident my food will not be on the floor after a rough road. Love the size and seems to be really energy efficient.

So far we are not happy with this refrig. I contacted your support for the small crack in the freezer. The refrigerator freezes up on the back wall . It gets very hot between the refrigerator and freezer. We have had campers for about 24 years, NEVER had this issue. We are happy with the size, color and look of it. Just not how it works. Hopefully G.E./ KEYSTONE/SCHIEKS can get this fixed or replaced. Then if all is well, 5 star review.

We have had many refrigerators over our 52 years, but have found GE the best, most dependable, and easy to understand how to use appliances. Obviously, they listen to consumers for recommendations because the layouts are superior to any others. No matter what layout works for you, GE meets the needs. They also look great in the area you wish to use them. We like the ease of use.

So just got the refrigerator installed in the RV today hooked it all up this morning. Seems like it™™s cooling oil. I hope these things last longer than these RV refrigerators that they™™ve had out for years really looking forward to it.

I received this unit with a Forest River RV. I have been fighting it's performance since DAY 1, 10-2022. It won't keep a steady temperature in either the frig or the freezer. For a while, i found a"sweet spot" on the thermostat but if it moved 1/8" either way. The frig back wall would freeze or the freezer would thaw. The best i could get was 40 deg in the grid and +10 deg in the freezerand that drowned in how full the frig was and the outside ambient temperature. I didn't have it looked at until the end of travel season 2023. I thought i had purchased an extended warranty thru Camping World. It wasn't covered. CW would look at for $95 / hr but they were just going to "shotgun " symptoms. It would also mean CW would have my camper for months. No thx. I'm going to try and find someone else to repair it. It also pulls alot of current when chilling. Tough when I'm boondocking!

12v 9.8c feet refrigerator Doesn™™t maintain it™™s temperature. Creates way too much humidity. Refrigerator freezes food and if you slightly change the thermostat temperature then the food in the freezer portion doesn™™t freeze completely. Very noisy

Fridge often freezes with snow on the back of the fridge, freezes stuff in the back of fridge. Waited 3 weeks for a GE certified tech to come out just to tell me that happens with these and I had scrape the snow off the back of my fridge out once a week. And I never put it in the coldest setting.

Not a fan, produce & eggs freeze, We bought fan to help with frost build up, it didn™™t work. I wish there were separate controls for the freezer & fridge.

First two years we had no issues, the unit worked perfectly well. Getting ready for a trip now and it is not cooling sufficiently, freezer temperature is the same as refrigerator.

Like everyone else in the one star category, we have had the exact same problems. This fridge was installed in our 2021 Keystone Outback 330RL brand new from the factory. The problems started out from Day 1. Temperature not stable, back wall freezing up everything in the fridge, latch not working right. We have had one motherboard replacement already, and now are probably facing another one. Last week, we attempted to go on a two week vacation up into Oklahoma from Texas. Well, we had a flat tire and stopped to change it. Upon inspection of the cabin, the fridge latch had come open at some point, and we now had rotting hamburger, chicken, butter, cheese, and veggies strewn all over the inside of our cabin, and the fridge itself was not running. We attempted to gather up all of the rotten food, and press on to our destination. The fridge was completely dead, would not run on shore power or anything at all. We had a toxic waste dump inside our living space. There are so many examples of this fridge failing, that I cannot believe it is still being put into RV's.

So far it is great, I needed a replacement for my travel trailer and this one was recommended by my repairman. Saw great reviews and approved it. Still a little vibration noise but he has not completed the complete trim out.

This fridge cools great. The only issue I have is that there is no way to turn off the light. Since it is 12 volt it puts a drain on my batteries.

Overall we have enjoyed using this refrigerator over the past 3.5 years. We camp at least one weekend per month plus a 3.5 week vacation during the summer. My only complaint is the door shelves are supported by foam. The foam is not very reliable. Enough have broken now that I came to the website to find a door insert replacement but they are $360! I guess I will just have to find a new way to store my stuff efficiently.... Any DIY tips would be welcome!
