Defective part has been replaced 5x in 3 yrs

The fridge gets cold by a fan in the freezer blowing down the cold air. Mine in a previous model was a lemon. Replaced it 5 times in 3 yrs. Previous design of similar sized fridge lasted 12 years with zero service calls. The top shelf of this fridge has limited space because of the fridge™€™s mechanisms.

Expensive and Loud

In its favor I'll say that it freezes and cools properly with the factory settings. However, it is as loud as or louder than the 12-year-old refrigerator it replaced, and it is very expensive for a small refrigerator. The plastic used for the door shelves seems less than substantial. I'll be surprised if it lasts for 12 years.

We need a QUALITY compact for the cabin

The cabin is out of range for deliveries so we looked far and wide for the best quality we could find to fit the small space we have. This model appeared to have the best interior arrangement and controls and looked more sturdy. After a couple of months we are happy with the selection with one small issue. Common household dust shows up more easily on the black finish than it did on the white predecessor, so a more frequent wipe down is needed.
