We love the large capacity, and the overall look inside and outside. However, we™€™ve only had it for 5 1/2 years and it™€™s the second time we™€™ve lost all of our food, because the fan stopped working. That causes no air circulation and the inside temperature to rise. Had to buy a new fridge.

The product looks great, and even impressed my 14 year old (which is not easy to accomplish). All three teenagers worked together to assign areas where "everything should go." Does this mean they will keep it clean and organized?! Now they want us to buy a matching new GE stove and dishwasher.... only if it changes their behavior.

I™€™ve been using this appliance for 6 months, while initially I was impressed™€¦.not so much any more. First, the freezer: The shelves cannot handle much weight. What do most families use their freezer for, not just ice cream, but meat. The both shelves screech and the wheels stop rolling if you put too much weight in them. So careful families™€¦.Just ice cream is best. The glass shelf in the refrigerator wins the prize for the most stupid design. It ™€œslides™€ back and drops in. Ok. How about out? Better yet, how about out after you accidentally spill some meat juice from thawing things and your kids spill some nice, sweet sticky stuff. It becomes adhered to the unit holding it. I watched numerous YouTube videos, and they were like, ™€œyeah, it MIGHT stick.™€ Got kids? It WILL be stuck. After quite a bit of time trying to pry it up, I finally took hot water and repeatedly poured it on the unit to loosen the dirt. I mean, this is GLASS, so you just can™€™t pry it up or you™€™ll break it. I™€™ve lived in probably 6 or 7 apartments, and owned three refrigerators. This design was ABSOLUTELY designed by a man, who doesn™€™t have to clean up after kids in his home, and they MAY test it in their lab allowing things to dry on for a day or two, but that ain™€™t reality. Of all the refrigerators I™€™ve rented and owned, I am least impressed with this GE, especially for the money. Better than the apartment-sized one I had in one place, but it™€™s clear they™€™ve cut corners where ever they could, and it™€™s not really a good freezer for a family trying to save money by buying meat when on sale. The freezer is designed for you have to a second freezer elsewhere.

Looks very pretty, but quality is lacking. Shelves in doors are fragile, freezer drawer won™€™t stay on track, ice maker is flimsy, loud and very slow. Moisture drain designed poorly, clogs easily and leaks onto floor until cleared. Condenser fan failed.

Entirely Disappointed.

Worked for 7 years and then died. Refrigerator stays at about 52 and the freezer ices up. We have our old refrigerator in the garage that has been working for 20 years. Hopefully Almond comes back in style because I™€™m going to go back to that one. The other company that made our old one seems to have figured out how to make a quality product that lasts.

So far so good. We've been using a couple of months. The only complaint is that a gallon of milk does not fit on the interior shelves not matter how you rearrange them. Milk has to be stored in the door shelf, which is ok, but I would prefer to actually have the door space for other items.. This is my first bottom freezer on a refrigerator and I really like that option and really like not having to bend down to look in the refrigerator any longer.

Here we are again within a few months having to call for service on our GE Fridge. This refrigerator is only 4 years old and has needed service for two separate issues earlier this year and now yet another problem. We have been inconvenienced several times for a repairman to come and diagnose, come again to repair, come again to diagnose because the first time was incorrect, then again for a repair. We were unable to use the refrigerator because it was warming up. Now a new issue with the door. Time to get rid of this defective product and move on to something better.

So far, so good. Refrigerators are great when they are new and always seem to work very well. Will I be able to get at least 10 years out of this refrigerator, or only 5? What I'm hearing from people in the industry today, is that you cannot expect more than 7-8 years out of a refrigerator now. We'll see.

This refrigerator was great for the first 3 years, but unfortunately the refrigerator portion will not stay cold. We have had service here twice which means dedicating a full day sometime between 8 and 5 for a technician to arrive. Part was replaced 7 days ago, now refrigerator is 50 degrees again.

Seems to work very well, but we have only had it for about 2 months. It seems to keep food cold. I will focus more on the gripes. 1. The fridge makes a lot more noises than our last one- nothing crazy, and I wouldn't say it's annoying, but it is definitely noticeable. The ice maker is pretty loud when it is operating. 2. The ice bin is pretty small, and the fridge seems to take a long time to fill it up. 3. The freezer seems to produce quite a bit of frost. Not sure why- we will play aroud with the temp settings. 4. When it was delivered, the delivery folks did a poor job removing the protective film, and there are bits of plastic sticking out around the edges everywhere. I think they just ripped the film off, instead of using any kind of razor blade or edged tool, so the small pieces that are now visible are very hard to remove.

Horrible refrigerator

Within the first year we bought this refrigerator it started freezing up and creating ice in the back of the refrigerator. Causing the temperature to go up to 68 degrees. GE will not help because we are out of there working area. We have replaced every part in the refrigerator including the mother board and now are having to buy a new refrigerator. Oh and we waited over 1.5 years to get it because they couldn't get parts.

The refrigerator is spacious and fits well in my kitchen. The icemaker is great and makes ma lot of ice. I like that it senses when it needs to make or stop making ice. The door shelves are adjustable and I can fit my brita pitcher on the door.

NICE, BUT

LOVE THE SPACE AND FEATURES OF THIS FRIDGE. HOWEVER AFTER ABOUT 3.5 MONTHS IS STOPPED COOLING ALTOGETHER AND LOST FOOD AND AFTER 3 WEEKS STILL TRYIGN TO GET IT FIXED OR A REPLACEMENT.
