I™€™ve had the unit for four years and the door locked up and would never work again but from the day I got it it had a foul odor no matter what I did it always stunk. Horrible machine the dryer is great, but the washing machine is worthless. I even tried to fix it. Couldn™€™t fix it. Sent the parts back and have yet to get a refund from GE. I will never buy anything from them again.

Two years old and one of the sensors is failing. Machine stops mid cycle with ™€œH2O SUPPLY™€ error. No notification on the app so if I don™€™t pay attention I wind up with soaking wet, but not clean, clothes sitting in my washer. Another expensive piece of junk. I expected more from GE.

Terrible product. GE internet or phone service told me to find a service company on my own. Funny they can deliver the washer to me, but can't send someone to fixt it. 2 years old, won't drain. Checked clogs in drain hose, filter and pump. All are clear. Terrible company. Deciding if it is worth it to try and fix. Never buying GE again.

Poor Performance I purchased both washer and dryer about 3 year ago. Always taking good care of it, then it suddenly stopped working and won™€™t spin but kept make couple of click then turn off. I was told I will have to replace the washer drain pump and the main control board. I came online to the reviews the unit for possible solutions and it turned out that this is a very common issue with these unit. Now I realize why GE offers only a one year warranty for this particular unit set, it™€™s obvious they know the unit is junk and won™€™t take time to breakdown and by then it will be outside of the warranty period. The units (both washer and dryer) are junk as the dryer makes horrible noise when in use. I bought the GE unit set because of the size and I felt GE was a reputable brand but of course I got it all wrong.NEVER AGAIN WITH GE PRODUCTS.

Washer is junk! Had it a year and a half and the door lock feature stopped working, replaced the locking mechanism and was determined to be the control board. Stuck without a working washing machine for $1600! They should RECALL this washer for multiple complaints of the same failure issues. Hopefully GE will stand by a recall and offer a replacement!

Ours brake down in less than two years. 13 month to be exact.. Machine fail to spin and drain the water of the washer. After trouble shooting this junk we fount out that the Main Control Board fail. No voltage to the drain pump to drain the water. Call GE Support . they told me that the electronic conponent only have one year warranty and that the motor has ten years. mis representation on their label that said 10 year in front of the machine. New part is $175.0+ change. Warranty on the part, one year. i dont think is worthed reparing something that broke and that quality and realibility is not there. can't trust this brand anymore. I lost $1,600 plus our dryer that i have new in storage that who know how long it will last. they email me this but never respond back after i answer them.. Response from GE Appliances: GE_Appliances (BULLET) 5 days ago We want to help out with the main board needing to be replaced. We're going to have one of our agents get in touch over email. Please respond at your earliest convenience. Agent got lost on the field never got a respond back.

Mold Galore!

GE NOT FOR ME 6/18/2024

I purchased my washer/dryer set in 2021. Since then we've had constant issues with mold. I noticed it initially after I had used the SmartDispense feature and had not opened the detergent drawer after several washes, because why would I? The purpose of the SmartDispense is so I don't have to access that drawer with every load. I performed a deep clean and sterilization on it and have religiously left both the washer door (despite the fact it's equipped with the "ultrafresh vent") and the soap dispenser open after each use. Unfortunately, I continue to have more mold growing in the SmartDispenser even though I have ceased use and do not have it turned on for the machine. I notice water puddles in nearly every compartment in that detergent drawer. So now I will deep clean again and work on after EVERY freaking use drying out the detergent compartments to ensure mold stays at bay. I have an infant now and it's very disturbing knowing I have to wash my child's clothes in this machine that is a mold breading ground. Don't be fooled by the gadgets this washer has to offer it's got the same problems as many front loaders have in the past. The most inconvenient washing machine ever.

WATER PUMP FILTER GASKET

I rate this product a 1 star because upon the monthly clean I do to my washer water pump filter the rubber gasket/seal expands through its usage to the point that if not replaced it can cause your washer to start leaking. I understand this wearing out of the water pump filter gasket is a normal thing to happen but I am outraged that GE doesn™€™t sell the rubber seal gasket by itself to purchase the only remedy that GE offered was for me to purchase the whole water pump filter part which is $73 when I only need the rubber gasket/seal. Thankfully upon reading reviews a person shared a solution where you can buy the rubber seal gasket for the water pump on Amazon you get 10 seals for $7! I tried this out and it works just fine! So I am here sharing this product in case this is anyone else™€™s issue with this washer. By searching on Amazon it can be found by searching: Danco 2-7/16 in. O.D. Standard Size Union Washer, 10 Pack, 61265W (Size: 2 7/16™€ O.D. x 1 11/16™€ I.D.)

Worst Purchase EVER

No surprise I have not heard from one customer service representative yet. I bought this washer and dryer as a set from Costco. 3.5 years later... it stops working properly. I see someone else in the reviews had the same problem. It starts a wash cylce and about 3 minutes later, it says it's finished and it's full of water. Got the error codes but of course, the repair man says it will cost just as much as a new one to fix. So here are the problems. 1)It's hundreds of dollars to fix or replace. I already spent the hundreds of dollars on a new washer only 3.5 years ago. 2) I have a stacked set. My dryer works just fine..so far. oh.. and they don't make the same color anymore. 3) I have to buy the exact same one that just broke on me so I can stack. They don't all come in the same sizes! Im so mad! Can you tell GE? I want my money back! I will never buy GE again. Sounds like LG is the way to go.

Great at first but slowly stopped working

After 2 years there is a H2O supply code and the pump filter is leaking all the water. It was a good machine at first and I loved it but all of a sudden quit. The supply error code makes me use warm water only for every wash but the filter leaking there is no way I can just buy the rubber seal there is only an option to buy the whole drain pump and that is ridiculous.

I got this washing machine and loved it at first. Was my first time getting a frond load and I chose it because of the vent system and that it prevents mold and mildew smells. I always try to keep it clean, run monthly cleaning cycles, leave the door open even though you don™€™t have to, clean the drain pump filter on a regular basis. That is where the problem came in the last time I cleaned that filter it wouldn™€™t screw back in properly and is now leaking water every time I try to use it. Seems like we can™€™t just buy a new one and have to buy the whole drain pump which is $80. It™€™s ridiculous!

I like the anti-mold feature of this washer. So far so good in terms of washing my clothes. It can handle bulky items like blankets and towels.

Great but ...

The machine works really well. I love the design and overall ease of use. But there are some things that we didn't understand.. water in the Fabric Softener slot after the wash and the Vent cycles last for hours.. not sure why. But we just open the door and it does the job. Is that function how it' supposed to work? Love the color. Not sure why you discontinued it.

The product was easily to use a work dra away it took her on to the Wi-Fi it clean it runs fast and it does what I needed to do every time on time and I haven™€™t we™€™re out of dirty clothes and I don™€™t have to collect the lip filter after every load I can let it run for one to two maybe even three loads before collecting it
