This refrigerator was slightly loud when we bought it, 3 years later is sounds like a power tool in constant use. Really frustrated I have to get a service person out to fix a new refrigerator. It replaced one that was 50 years old and still working fine.

First and foremost g was my preferred appliance of all other dealers. I wanted a refrigerator top and freezer bottom due to the space that I thought I was going to be able to gain from having the freezer on the bottom. Plus I didn't like the fact of bending over anymore. This particular model although is very durable I have had it for the past 4 years and it has been pretty good so far. The I had I have had to replace the drawers the refrigerator door compartments as they easily snap. But thank God there is a replacement that can be had and I have been doing so even though I didn't particularly care to.

We have had issues with the ice machine. We have checked all the connections and still no ice. There is no additional information in the instructions other than on/off. We have had others look at it and cannot figure it out either.

Love the fridge! It™™s huge and has a great layout. I don™™t love a drawer freezer - feels a little small and some things can be hard to get to. But overall, it™™s great! Works well and looks nice.

It works great, but a bottle fell and cracked the plastic in the refrigerator . Would hope the plastic would be stronger, it was only 1 month old when this happened.

A great fridge! Plenty of space. And the shelves are adjustable. A bit limited, tho. Only complaint I have is with the noise. Occasionally, it'll sound like there's a gear stuck. Or, a "grinding," noise.

Bought this refrigerator brand new from a reputable dealer. 16 months later it is 55° in both fridge and freezer. Repairman said it had no refrigerant in it. How does a brand new fridge loss all of it refrigerant?!? GE will not help me with anything. Horrible product. Horrible company. I will never own another GE product and will discourage everyone I know from buying GE.

Mathis refrigerator is good looking with lots of storage in the fridge part. The freezer drawer is awkward and it is difficult to fit much in. Plus it was leaking water on our new hickory floors. We turned off the water and are waiting for a new ice maker.

I rent an apartment with this refrigerator, and besides the high rental price, the refrigerator noise is the only thing I dislike. The refrigerator makes a very loud noise all the time (the compressor fan in the freezer at the bottom keeps running all day every day), if you leave the door opened for a few minutes, the thing kicks all fans at full speed for hours. The temperatures are ok, the appliance refrigerates well, but my 'decades' older refrigerator does not make even half of the noise of this 'supposed' ultra-modern refrigerator does. I am very bothered and frustrated. I am an engineer and I know how consumer end products should be designed and tested. Here in the reviews they even acknowledge that they do not rate the noise levels in dB (of course, because then consumers would find out before buying them!) but the definitely should provide that information because us the consumers will be hearing this all day, especially now with this new 'normal' working from home. It is so loud that even with headphones on I can hear how low it is. The unit does not show you when it will shut off, or for how long it has to run this loud. I highly recommend that you look for another refrigerator model that makes less noise than this one. Message for GE engineering:: running the compressor longer for energy-saving purposes and multiple fans at full speed does not justify sacrificing user comfort; you guys are paid for coming up with a design that balances those trade-offs, I spend hours learning and trying things in my job in order to provide good solutions in the stuff that I make/design, please do that as well. I have now spend several hours researching technicians biogs and reading users manuals just to find out that I should fully load the refrigerator and those super loud nosies are "normal".

Flexible shelf setup, Plenty of room. Controls are a little flaky as you cycle through temps in ascending order only. Doesn™™t run all the time, but when it does - it™™s a little loud and the tone™™s frequency is unpleasant. Not sure if my cabinet enclosure may just hit the resonate frequency. But I will need to mitigate it somehow.

Our New GE Bottom Freezer Refrigerator has been such a great purchase for us. Lots of room up top so we can easily find items and organize. Bottom freezer has ice maker section where we can store ice cream and easily accessible lighted food compartment to find items quickly in the freezer. We Love It

We have a small kitchen with a relatively small area for a refrigerator. This refrigerator was the best one we could find that fit the 32" width we have available. We love the bottom freezer drawer and the general organization of the shelving and interior doors. The ice maker works great! The only drawback is a lack of a butter compartment.

Love the refrigerator. Always wanted a bottom freezer but it's hard to find things on the bottom. Our old refrigerator was 38 years old and the ice maker had broken. So nice to not have to buy ice anymore.

We bought this refrigerator for our cabin. With a small kitchen we knew we needed something with a single door and this option, with the freezer drawer beneath was a great choice, with one exception. The glass refrigerator shelves are enclosed in an attractive plastic trim on all sides, the trouble is that if anything leaks (chicken, beef) it catches between the glass and plastic trim and is impossible to properly clean and sanitize. I have been soaking the shelf in hot water and cleaning solutions trying without success to remove the dried blood caught in the shelf liner. Because of the design there doesn't seem to be any way to separate the two materials.

We decided we could live without a water dispenser but must have ice. We like the utility of the bottom freeze. It's not huge but there's just 2 of us. It looks good and works great. One minor flaw is that it's a little noisy when compressor is running but nothing you can't get used to and may depend on your placement I suppose. 6 months i and so far we're happy.

Great temperature control, size, and quiet. Wanted a new fridge as an upgrade from very old appliances. It's great to be able to see all the food, top fridge / bottom freezer is a great way to go. Plenty of space for foods. Good temp control for vegetables, fruits, etc.

This fridge replaces our 16 years old GE Profile 19.6 CuFt fridge. This fridge has a lot more storage even though it is only 2 CuFt larger. It is brighter and easier to find things. I do find it not as cold and the interior materials feels a little cheap. Overall , we are happy with it. Running for about 3 weeks now.

This is the first time that I have owned a bottom freezer refrigerator.. and just love the convenience. No more stooping with head in refrigerator to see what I have. The clear plastic and LED lighting also makes it easy to see what you have inside.

The waterline to the ice maker lines in the path of the cooling fan. I've had two of these, neither lasting longer than 6 months when the ice maker and water line starts freezing up and keeps freezing up. Looking for another fridge to replace this one again. And also the filter from GE, based on model number, did not fit.

We were limited to a specific size for our space. This refrigerator fit the specs and so far works well and gives us plenty of space for our food. It is, however, quite noisy and makes some weird noises. You get used to it but it is rather loud at times.

Worst product you can think of. It is so noisy (63dB) that it will wake you up at night! It™™s humming and rattling and GE won™™t do anything about it since they consider it a NORMAL noise. And with no noise specifications they can say whatever the hell they want.

The refrigerator was purchased mainly because of it's bottom freezer feature. It was about the only one we could find to fit the space allowed for this appliance (even after removing a cabinet above it). My only complaint is that it wasn't available in white.

My wife and I purchased a house with the space for a refrigerator only being 29.75™ in width. With few options to choose from for a decent size for that width we went with the GE and are extremely pleased. The only downside is the top drawer of the freezer is not very user friendly. Overall we™™re pleased with the purchase and would buy again.
