the thing only lasted 14 days, the appliance store is on their way to pick it up to fix it, but im going to get a full refund because i think this says it all about this unit. Its not going to last. this was my experience.

We love our refrigerator, we have had it for about 7 months. The only issue we have is each time you open and close the refrigerator door, you always have to make sure the freezer door is closed tight!

We got this to replace our old failing garage fridge. This one is a dream. The fridge itself stays nice and cool as it should and the items don™™t freeze (or get too warm in the door).
The look with the freezer on the bottom and swing door is very nice. The bottom freezer set up gives ample room.

Does the job. Door shelves are much wider than my old unit which is a good thing. Door finish is easy to clean. Because I™™m old, wish I didn™™t have to switch door sides. Plus, the freezer door swings left or right instead of pull out, which the handle implies.

It's noisy. Also anything in the left crisper drawer freezes even with the settingon the warmest level.
Finally, this isn't what I ordered. After it was delivered I was told the one I ordered was discontinued and I should be happy as this was an upgrade. It has a door instead of a drawer for the freezer. It's not an upgrade and it's shady that they just sent it rather than contacting me. I was also told that if I insisted on one with a drawer it would be another 6 months minimum. I got a discount, but have a bad taste in my mouth with respect to GE and Home Depot. I won't buy from either again.

Nice size but could use more door/condiment shelves and a bin for cheeses/deli meats. It only has two produce bins. One of the door bins came cracked and it was torture trying to actually get a person on the phone to assist with a replacement.

Gets things very cold, decent sized freezer, odd having no sliding pull out for the freezer, can get awkward getting low to get things out. Wish it had a meat/cheese drawer somewhere and an egg/butter flap on the door.

Bought this in May 2021. Was not delivered until October 2021. We've had it a little over a month and now it's humming extremely loud. Sounds like a massage chair is running inside the refrigerator. We have checked all the troubleshooting steps and nothing is working to make it stop. Doesn't have an ice maker or water dispenser to be making these noises. Very upset with this product.

It has been about a month and so far so good. Had to reverse the door swings on one of the units, which proved to be straight forward. All the holes lined up and the quality seems exceptional. Quiet operation. Very consistent temperatures in both the fridge & freezer between both units.

The solder gave way after only 7 months causing me to lose $150 in frozen foods and I had to get all my other stuff out of the fridge and put in garage fridge before it got ruined. The coolant leaked out slowly. Had repair out and it™™s back up and running but I™™m afraid to put food back in just yet. It will be staple items for now and a few frozen things. For the next week or so. I am hoping I get food reimbursement, on hold as I write this. Service guy was great. Only other thing I hate about this fridge is the door on the bottom on the website I bought it from didn™™t show pictures so I thought it was a drawer not door. Missing so much storage this way. This fridge has only been out 1 year service tech said.

Although I thought this was pretty much just like my old refrigerator, it lacks one important feature. When the door on the old one was left open, after a few seconds it would beep to alert you. This one does not, and the door is harder to close and falls open more easily and faster than the old one. Even allowing for the delays caused by the virus, it took SIX MONTHS to get this fridge, and that's with me checking every two weeks. .

Lacks any drawers other than the usual vegetable/fruit ones. Temperature control is terrible (at the lowest setting, stuff still freezes ... in the refrigerator section). The freezer, at the bottom of the unit, opens with a sideways door. Not a pull-out. A definite disappointment.

Well from the hot go it was bad, doors were scratched and had a dent, they ordered me new doors which took two weeks then the new freezer door was scraping and clunking when opened and during all that this fridge freezes my food. You can™™t put anything near the back or sides .... it freezes !!! I have it on the lowest setting!!! For the price, I expected more!! So not too impressed.

Pros- Door alarm was an unexpected surprise. Easy to set temps, clean and Organize.
Con- The freezer door is not aligned correctly and doesnt close correctly. I need to put a weight in front of door to keep it closed. Called the GE support was transferred around a bunch and was told someone would call me back. Still no call. Had issues with a GE stove I bought several months ago, I won't be buying GE again.

main compartment good . Door selves good. freezer left a lot to be desirer. draw almost fell out of compartment. It dumps food on floor. It's very small . It would be difficult to fit a 24 lbs turkey,or anything else. We didn't buy ice maker unit. Freezer could have been better alot better.

This refrigerator was actually our second choice. Our first one didn™™t come with an icemaker. After multiple attempts to get it installed we gave up and exchanged our refrigerator for this one and I absolutely love it. It™™s bigger and has an ice maker plus an alarm that goes off when you leave the door open too long or forget to close it. I wanted black but it didn™™t come in black only stainless steel. Now I™™m glad I have that. Much easier to keep clean.

We had a small 18 cu.ft. refrigerator that was at least 20 years old (which was pretty impressive). It started to wear out and we decided to replace it with this GE model. We like the simpleness of it, not having a visible ice maker or french doors. I couldn't be happier with the size of the door shelves, the way the light slowly brightens when you open the door, or the finish of it which makes cleaning a breeze.

Bottom freezer is terribly unhandy since the door swings to the side and the upper shelf doesn™™t pull out so one has to get down to that level to stock it and to remove food items.

I wanted a bottom freezer unit for the convenience of not bending over all the time to get in the refrigerator. Overall this is a nice appliance. The appearance is a little disappointing. It is by some of the plastic on freezer door and such cheap looking. Also the use of the freezer the way it is organized is disappointing. I have the freezer on the lowest setting and it will not keep food to 0 degrees. This is definitely not good for a modern appliance

The freezer door will not stay shut, they came to fix but it still wouldn™™t shut so they replaced the refrigerator and same thing. We keep it closed with duct tape.

The first time that we opened the door on the appliance, the handle came off. It continues to do so unless we make a conscious effort to apply downward pressure on the handle. The door handle is made of plastic and just slides onto plastic brackets on the door. When we do open the door the whole appliance slides across the tile floor, unless we hold it in place.

I just had this refrigerator installed. The delivery guys were great and professional. I really love this refrigerator because it fits great in my small kitchen. Much quieter than I expected. It is very roomy. I am so happy I got the freezer on the bottom! Saves my back! And at my age, that is a real blessing. I have a GE stove also and I am a fan of GE products and I would not buy any other brand. The price and brand name were a great factor for my decision for this product.

This is a very nice refridgerator. The shelves on the door are very sturdy; I had a lot of problems with my last cheaper fridge's door shelves. I like the freezer on the bottom - less bending, since I use the refridgerator a lot more often. I feel this appliance was a very good value for a sturdy refridgerator with not many frills (like ice maker, etc.).
