Quiet Operation

I purchased the unit as a replacement for another brand that had failed. I didn't try a service call for the old one as it had both fans on the same shaft and was quite noisy in operation. I was immediately pleased with the quietness of the Frigidaire. I was worth the effort just for sound reduction.

Very quiet machines

I replaced my 3 Amana 12 years old PTACs with 3 of these and the sound (or lack thereof) is night hand day. Seems to cool down the apartment pretty quick. I have not had a chance to test out the heating function yet since it is still in the middle of summer. The unit also look very attractive and modern with a bright white color.

Purchase this one to replace my old GE unit. Slide out and slide new one in with ease. Turn it on, and feel much quieter. Excellent, will see how the heater function later in the year.

I'm very pleased with my new Frigidaire PTAC. My condo uses 3 PTACs (all different manufactures) and this new one is a replacement for an older unit. This Frigidaire PTAC is much quieter than the others and it can cool the room twice as fast. And it has a timer function that the others didn't have. Another big plus - it was $300 to $500 cheaper than other similar models.
